Well, it has been quite a while since we had a journal entry and a lot has happened.
At the end of December Janie & I officially resigned our church in Corpus Christi and her job as Atheletics Director at the Baptist School. We sold our house in Corpus and moved to New Caney, TX (just north of Houston). The first week of January saw us begin a new ministry with 1st Assembly of God in New Caney. I am working with the Youth in the church and fulfilling other duties. Janie is staying home with Faith full time. The church is providing a parsonage for us to live in and we are very happy with it.
We were able to sell our house very quickly for what we wanted in a market that was stale at best. Our move has been smooth for the most part. When we decided to make the move God worked everything out for us, just like the Bible says He will. We loved being in Corpus and will very much miss it. However, we are excited to be in the place that we are and look forward to what God has in store.
Faith is doing wonderful! She has just celebrated her second Birthday(there are pictures and video on the other page. She is learning so much so quickly. Right now she is working on going potty and learning colors & shapes. We couldn't ask for a better child. She has just started sleeping in her big girl bed and is doing great.
Janie is enjoying being home with Faith and will be continuing to take college classes in the summer. She is working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education. There is a shortage of teachers, and one day Janie may go back to teaching. When Faith grows up a little, of course.
Sorry it's been so long since the last update. I'll try to do better from now on.
